Caoimhe Beirne - Piano/Vocals

Caoimhe grew up surrounded by music, learning to play a variety of instruments through Irish Traditional Music with her family. After developing a love for the piano, she soon progressed through the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) Pianoforte grades. In addition to her classical piano training, Caoimhe also studied Classical and Musical Theatre Singing through RIAM.

 

Caoimhe’s passion for music developed during her time at boarding school, where she found a love for composition through songwriting. Completing composition courses and "triplet threat" camps. This led her to pursue a BA in Commercial Modern Music at University, specialising in Songwriting. Caoimhe has since co-written released singles by Irish artists, performed at weddings and events, including the largest festival in Ireland - Electric Picnic.

 

With over 7 years of teaching experience, Caoimhe has worked with students of all ages and abilities. From her early days offering at-home lessons during secondary school to spending five years teaching at a local private music school, Caoimhe has gained extensive experience tailoring lessons to best develop students’ musicianship. The main objectives in Caoimhe’s classes is to have fun and enjoy the learning process!
